Cantillon’s Zwanze Day will be held in Zaragoza for another year

Zwanze Day is back, the annual international event organized by the legendary Belgian brewery Cantillon, and in Zaragoza we’ll be lucky enough to be able to celebrate it one more year. Among the select list of venues that will host it this year, we’ve been honored that they’ve included our brewpub.

Around the central event, which will take place on Saturday 25 at 9:00 p.m. with the Parasol barrel tap, we’ve organized a series of tastings that will extend throughout the weekend, all of them led by Sergio Ruiz, Cierzo’s brewmaster, in which a total of 12 varieties of this lambic brewery will be tested, many of them being special editions.

Parasol is the beer made this year by Cantillon to celebrate this Zwanze Day: a blend of Lambic and citrus, mainly oranges and kumquat, aged in cedar barrels. A single barrel per pub, which will be released at the same time all over the world, at 9:00 p.m. on Saturday 25.

In addition, throughout the weekend we’ll have “porrones”, a wide selection of Cantillon bottles to drink on site or to take away, and the option to try 4 varieties on tap for €15.

Join us in this very special celebration, in which thanks to Cantillon we’ll toast in Zaragoza with one of the most incredible beer styles that exist.
