A beer to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Zaragoza’s Cup Winners’ Cup

This Sunday, May 10, marks the 25th anniversary of that UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup that will always be remembered in Zaragoza. A memory that still lasts and that the Cierzo Brewing Co. brewery wants to commemorate with a beer that will be called Recopa del 95 and will go on sale soon.

The beer is already in production and today its label has been presented, the work of designer Eva Felipe. To make it more special, its edition has been limited to 1,995 units, all of them numbered and in a 44 cl can, which will be put on sale both in the brewery’s online store and in its factory and restaurant, located in the Zaragoza center, at number 8 of Josefa Amar y Borbón Street.

As for its characteristics, it is a golden colored beer, with a light and intense body, in which its 7.1 degrees are perfectly balanced. For its part, the hops of the Sterling, Centennial and Ahtanum varieties give it just the bitterness to refresh the palate and claim the next drink.

Cierzo Brewing Co. is a Zaragoza brewery founded in 2018, which has a main factory in Caspe, in addition to the one already mentioned in Zaragoza, where you can taste its beers accompanied by a varied gastronomic offer. So far this year, it has received two of the highest awards that a new brewer in Spain can receive: the RateBeer Best and the Barcelona Beer Challenge.
