Zaragoza will once again host another edition of Zwanze Day

One more year, we are proud to announce that our brewpub in Zaragoza is one of the five venues chosen in Spain to celebrate this international event: Zwanze Day 2022.

What is Zwanze Day?

Three days of celebration of Cantillon, one of the best breweries in the world and also one of the most special, for its Lambic-style beers, fermented with wild yeasts that are only found on the banks of the Senne river.

In our brewery and restaurant in Zaragoza, we will celebrate 3 paired tastings, directed by an expert such as Sergio Ruiz, Cierzo’s brewmaster. Each of them made up of 4 varieties of Cantillon and 4 pairings that will make you cry with joy.

On Saturday at 9:00 p.m. and simultaneously with the rest of the places where this event is held around the world, we will prick a barrel of Poivre de Gorilles, the beer brewed this year for Zwanze Day. A 2-year-old Lambic with black pepper grown in the Likouala forest (Republic of the Congo), home to an endangered species of gorilla, to whose protection part of the profits obtained from this beer will be used.

In addition, throughout the weekend we will tap kegs and have bottles of very exclusive editions of Cantillon. An excellent opportunity to come and taste these incredible beers and at the same time enjoy the dishes of our new food menu, just released.
